Area of ridge and furrow visible as earthworks, located in a field north of Deal. The earthworks run WNW-ESE and are fairly broadly spaced and so may date to the medieval or post-medieval periods. The features were mapped from military aerial photographs taken in February 1946 [1] and are still apparent in August 2003 [2, 3], but are ploughed level by April 2007 [4, 5].
