Full Description
An irregular hexagonal WWII pillbox is located to the east of Finglesham and measures 5m by 4m. It is mapped from military aerial photographs September 1946 [1], which is the earliest run of photographs available covering this area but presumably it was built sometime between 1940 and 1941. it is no longer visible by April 2007 [2].
A transcription of the feature recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER.
