Full Description

WWII Nissen Hut, situated at the eastern entrance of Shakespeare Cliff tunnel, west Dover was observed using military aerial photographs. It was possibly used for storage of military equipment, measuring 4.3m wide by 11.2m long. The Nissen hut was first observed in February 1941 [1] and the complete structure was last visible in August 1947 [2]. It was not witnessed in aerial photography in April 1950 [3].
