A WWII pillbox is visible in the corner of a field on 1940s vertical aerial photographs [1]. It appears to be of Type 24 form. It is one of three in this immediate vicinity (see also MWX43485 & Mke41986) covering the railway line to the south. It is not clear whether the pillbox still exists as recent aerial photographs show the field corner as covered with scrub growth and overgrown hedgerow [2].

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER [3].
