Full Description
WWII earthwork of unknown function visible on aerial photography taken in 1946, 1949 and 1950 [1, 2, 3, 4], located near St Margaret’s at Cliffe.  The site was comprised of one bank with a backing ditch located 300m from the cliff edge.  The feature was 26m x 7m in total.  The site was no longer visible on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2007 [5].  A similar feature was seen 450m to the SW (MWX43516).
