Monument record MWX43533 - Coastal trench, Dover
Summary
WWII crenulated trench located on the coast to the east of the Port of Dover. This defensive trench was approximately 75 m in length and was closely associated with an observation post (MKE 17298) to the west. This trench is visible as a ditch and bank on aerial photography taken in 1942, and 1945. As of 1962 this earthwork has been infilled.
