Monument record TR 34 SW 2754 - WWII pontoon, Dover

Summary

WWII pontoon visible in 1945 but not in 1942, located in Dover. This formed what was likely a floating dock in Dover Harbour. Six square structures which appeared to be platforms formed two lines and were linked with an unknown material, perhaps forming a bridge. Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 showed the site to be absent. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based in available information)
