Monument record MWX43627 - WWII military site, Kingsdown

Summary

WWII military site visible in 1946 and partially in 1941, located in Kingsdown. The site was located at the high water mark. The site was comprised of an open-ended enclosure, eight foxholes, two banks and a single line of barbed wire. This site was not visible in 2003 and part of the area was seen to be in the intertidal zone.
