Full Description
WWII slit trench visible on aerial photographs taken in 1941, 1942 and 1946 [1, 2 and 3], located in Kingsdown. This feature measured 20 x 12m and was ditched with an external bank. It was located at the edge of an arable field 235m from the high water mark. This site was not visible on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [4 and 5].
The site was located 140m SSE of a WWII military site (MWX43632) and 130m E of another military site (MWX43635).
