WWII barbed wire visible on aerial photography taken in 1941, 1942 and 1943 [1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6], located between Walmer and Deal. This wire was not visible in 1946 [7]. This section of barbed wire ran roughly N-S along the beach. It was 1110m long and varied between one and three lengths of wire thick. This was functionally associated with the section of barbed wire to the S (MWX43647). These structures were not visible on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [8 and 9].
