Full Description
WWII military camp visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 [1], located in Walmer.  The site was not visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942 [2] when the area was an unused plot of land.  It measured 50 x 75m and was located on a domestic road.  The camp was comprised of two long nissen huts joined with two structures, a further nissen hut, five small structures, an area of probable hard standing, a curvilinear bank and associated pathways.  The site was seen to have been developed as a housing estate on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [3].  
This camp lay 70m ESE of Walmer RAF Camp (Mke41957).  To the E lay a series of WWII earthworks (MWX43653) and an area of barbed wire (MWX43652).
