Field boundaries of unknown date visible on aerial photographs taken in 1976 and 1978 [1 and 2], located in Walmer. The boundaries were visible as linear ditches within one field and spanned an area measuring 285 x 345m at maximum dimensions. Field boundaries present on historic OS mapping from 1877, 1899, 1908 and 1938 [3, 4, 5 and 6] were not mapped by the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey; thus some features visible on the aerial photography were not included.

The mapped features were not visible on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [7]. Five segments of one field boundary, which ran NNW-SSE over an oval enclosure (MKE6678), were visible on false coloured Next Perspectives photography taken in 2007 [8].
