Full Description
WWII possible gun emplacement visible on aerial photographs taken in 1945 and 1946 [1 and 2]. The structure measured 7.5m in diameter and was placed in the centre of a field. The building was not seen on OS historic mapping dating to 1938 [3]. This feature was no longer visible on aerial photography taken in 1950 [4]. The site was no longer visible on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [5].
Located 80m ENE of this site was a WWII building (MWX43707).
