Monument record MWX43710 - Banked earthworks, Worth

Summary

Banked earthworks, possibly dating to WWII, visible in 1945, located in Worth. These seventeen extant banks spanned an area in the bend of a drain, which may have been a palaeochannel, alongside the Isle of Dogs. The banks formed no specific monument and are of unknown function. Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 showed no sign of the banks, as the line of the drain had been moved further S and cut the features.
