Summary
Rifle range first visible on the Ordnance Survey 1877 edition and was noted as disused’ on the Ordnance Survey 1908 edition. No trace of the site was seen on Channel Coastal Observatory photography taken in 2008. This site was given a monument polygon during historic mapping enhancement as part of Phase 1 of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey.
