Windmill recorded as used for corn first visible on the Ordnance Survey 1877 edition [1] and still visible on the Ordnance Survey 1908 edition [2]. The site was no longer visible on the Ordnance Survey 1938 edition [3] and had been built over. The site was not visible on Google Earth photography taken in 2007 [4].

The site is shown as empty on the OS drawing of 1797. The windmill is first recorded on the Tithe Map of 1842. It is shown on the 3rd edition OS 25" mapping but had been demolished by the time of the 4th edition.
