Full Description
Coastguard station recorded on the Ordnance Survey 1877 edition [1]. This was not visible on the Ordnance Survey 1938 edition [2]. It was also not visible on MasterMap dating to 2009 [3], though ‘Coastguard Cottage’ was present on the site. The area was given a monument polygon during historic mapping enhancement as part of Phase 1 of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey.
