A Second World War bomb crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946, though the site has been levelled on aerial photographs taken in 1966. The site is centred on TR 27578 38735 and comprises a central pit surrounded by an upcast bank. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2).
