Full Description

A Second World War bomb crater is visible on aerial photographs of 1941 as a hollow in a field between Dunkirk End and High Knock. This feature has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East RCZAS NMP project. The bomb crater is centred at TR 0974 2903, and measures approximately 15m in diameter. This area has subsequently been developed for housing, and the site of the bomb crater now lies within the back gardens of the houses of Marshlands and Dunkirk Close (1-2).
