Full Description
A Second World War bomb crater is visible on aerial photographs of 1941 as a hollow in a field to the west of Dymchurch. This feature has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East RCZAS NMP project. The bomb crater is centred at TR 0998 2367, and measures approximately 11 metres across. Vertical aerial photographs of 2006 appear to show that there is still a slight hollow at this point (1-2).
