A Second World War light anti-aircraft (Diver) battery was previously recorded here at Lydd Ranges, based on information from documentary sources. This area was surveyed as part of the South East RCZAS NMP project. No sign of the battery was visible on vertical aerial photographs of 1941 or 1946.
