Summary
A Second World War minefield is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1942. The site comprises a chevron shaped minefield, comprising circa 150 mines arranged in rows of three. The site has been sketched, as there are not sufficient reference points to be able to rectify the photographs. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2).
