Monument record MWX51363 - Second World War pillbox, Folkestone Harbour

Summary

A Second World War pillbox is visible as a building on aerial photographs taken in 1942, though it has been demolished on aerial photographs taken in 1945. The pillbox appears to be circular and is located on the southern side of Folkestone Harbour. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2).
