Monument record MWX51369 - Second World War pillbox
Summary
A Second World War pillbox is visible as aerial photographs taken in 1942 and 1945 as a building, though it has been demolished on aerial photographs taken in 1959. The pillbox appears to be circular, with a pair of detached blast walls at the rear. The site is located on the northern side of New Dover Road. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2).
