Monument record MWX51394 - Second World War pillbox, Hougham Coastal battery

Summary

A Second World War reinforced concrete pillbox is visible as a building on aerial photographs taken in 1945, though it has been demolished on aerial photographs taken in 1983. The pillbox on the north eastern corner of Hougham Coastal battery (NMR: 1423505). This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2).
