Monument record MWX51420 - Second World War pillbox
Summary
A Second World War square pillbox is visible as a building on aerial photographs taken in 1946, though it has been demolished on aerial photographs taken in 1983. The Defence of Britain project recorded two pillboxes nearby from documentary records. However, it is difficult to be sure how this pillbox relates to this record. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2).
