Monument record MWX51421 - Second World War structure

Summary

A Second World War structure, perhaps an observation post of some type is visible as a structure on aerial photographs taken in 1942, though it has been removed on aerial photographs taken in 1945. This is more likely to be a military structure of some type, though it could be a temporary structure to protect the villa or make the site more difficult to recognise from the air. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2).
