Summary
A Second World War trench system is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs within the sandy dunes of the Hythe Firing Ranges (Monument Number 1531850) south of Nickolls Quarry. The linear trench system comprises of two perpendicular trenches measuring between 32-42 meters in length. The trench was subsequently levelled after the war.
