Monument record TR 23 NW 712 - Second World War anti tank obstructions

Summary

A group of Second World War anti tank obstructions are visible as structures on aerial photographs taken in 1942, though they have been removed on aerial photographs taken in 1945. The obstructions comprises an area of possible `hedgehogs' or `pimples' and nine roadblocks. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2).
