Summary

A length of Second World War beach defence is visible as a structure on aerial photographs taken in 1942 and 1945, though it has been removed on aerial photograph taken in 1959. The site comprises a length of beach scaffolding which extends for 268 metres. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2).
