Full Description
A linear section of Second World War barbed wire obstructions is visible on aerial photographs within the Hythe Firing Ranges, south of Palmarsh and extends from TR 1375 3293 to TR 1388 3303. The barbed wire forms part of the anti invasion defences and obstacles within the Hythe Ranges and was subsequently removed after the war. The barbed wire obstruction was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment NMP. (1)
