Monument record TR 23 NE 248 - Second World War bomb craters

Summary

A pair of Second World War bomb craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946, though they have been levelled on aerial photographs taken in 1966. The site comprises two circular craters partially surrounded by spoil heaps. The craters are 53 metres apart. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2).
