Monument record TR 23 NE 231 - Post Medieval or Twentieth Century possible buildings
Summary
A pair of probably Post Medieval or Twentieth Century possible buildings and a possible field boundary or property boundary are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and 1966, though they appear to have been levelled on aerial photographs taken in 2006. The site comprises a rectilinear bank and a rectilinear hollow which suggest buildings, with a linear bank extending to the south of them. All three features are oriented ESW-WNW, and may possibly be associated with the sound mirror (NMR: 1413672), which is on the same orientation and located 12 metres to the south west. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2).
