Full Description
A possible Second World War pillbox is visible on aerial photographs of 1946 in what were then the grounds of The Casino at Dunkirk End. This feature has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East RCZAS NMP project. The possible Type 24 pillbox is centred at TR 0994 2904, and measures approximately four to five metres across. This are has subsequently been developed for housing, and the site of the former pillbox now lies within the back garden of a house on the seaward side of Seabourne Way (1-2).
