Full Description
A possible Second World War pillbox is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942 and has been mapped as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP. The rectangular shaped pillbox is located on the promenade between Hythe and Sandgate at TR 17316 34481, but was removed or demolished after the war. (1)
