A section of Second World War barbed wire obstructions are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1945. The barbed wire is located on the sand dunes with the Hythe Military Ranges (Monument Number 1531850) west of Hythe. The barbed wire was removed after the war.

Full Description

A section of Second World War barbed wire obstructions are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1945 and has been mapped as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP. The barbed wire is located along the beach west of Hythe, within the Hythe Military Ranges (Monument Number 1531850) and extends from TR 1521 3383 to TR 1550 3393. The barbed wire was removed after the war. (1)
