Full Description
A series of Second World War barbed wire obstructions are visible as structures on aerial photographs taken in 1942, though they have been removed on aerial photographs taken in 1945. The site is centred on TR 2421 3675, and extends over an area which measures 150 metres north-south and 70 metres east-west. These obstructions are located partway up the cliff. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2) (1-2).
