Full Description
Four Second World War slit trenches visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946, though the site has been levelled on aerial photographs taken in 1966. The site is centred on TR 29406 39842 and comprises four narrow M or Z shaped trenches. The individual trenches are centred on TR 29396 39807, TR 29374 39841 and two at TR 29416 39869. This site has been mapped from aerial photographs as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2) (1-2).
