Full Description
Second World War anti tank ditches are visible on aerial photographs at Dymchurch, south of Hythe Road (now in the area occupied by Hind Close and Tartane Lane) and have been mapped as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP. The ditches formed part of the anti invasion defences of Dymchurch and the Kent coastline. The ditches were subsequently filled in and levelled after the war. (1)
