Full Description
Site of a Second World War light anti aircraft (Diver) battery at Hythe Ranges. This was armed with six anti aircraft tanks and twin Oerlikon guns on 28th August 1944. The manning details are unknown. (1) The Second World War light anti aircraft (Diver) battery was not visible on the available historical aerial photographs viewed as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment NMP. It was not possible to pick out definable features on the ground which may have related to the anti aircraft (Diver) battery. (2)
