Summary

Site of heavy anti aircraft (Diver) battery near Great Farthingloe. It was armed with four 90mm mobile guns. It formed part of the Dover Diver Section from 20th July 1944, when it was manned by the 126 American Mobile Anti Aircraft Battalion.The available aerial photographs which cover this area have been examined as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2), and there was no visible sign of the site at this location.

The available aerial photographs which cover this area have been examined as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2), and there was no visible sign of the site at this location (2).
