Monument record 1424657 - Second World War reinforced concrete pillbox [

Summary

The site of Second World War pillbox, designated as of anti-tank strength. On the North side of Folkestone Harbour. The available aerial photographs which cover this area have been examined as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP (Component 2) and there is a possible a structure with some height at the centre of the harbour wall although this is not definite enough to map. It is still present in 1945, but has been removed by 1947.
