Pillbox [Sector 4]. Cassini ref 636531. Sandgate, Folkestone. (1) The site of a Second World War pillbox referred to above (Source 1) was not t was not visible on the available historical aerial photographs at the location given above. The National Grid Reference given may be inaccurate due to its conversion from its Cassini Map Reference. The photographs were viewed for this site as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP. (2)
