Full Description

Pillbox [shown on German map of defences in East Kent]. On coast South-East of Hythe centre. (1) The pillbox referred to above (Source 1) is visible on aerial photographs and mapped as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP. The square pillbox is centred at TR 17207 3447 on the north side of the Princess Parade. It was subsequently demolished after the war and was gone by 1966. (2-3)
