Full Description
Three Second World War bomb craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs, within Dymchurch and have been mapped as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP. The craters are centred at TR 1015 2984, TR 1023 2988 and TR 1063 2989 and were the result of enemy bombing of this part of the coastline. The craters was subsequently levelled after the war. (1-2)
