Full Description

Two parallel lines of Second World War anti tank obstacles are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942 and have been mapped as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey NMP. The obstacles are located along the esplanade at Sandgate, between TR 19983 35044 and TR 19345 34937 but were removed after the war.(1)
