Listed Building record TR 24 NW 98 - THE STABLES OF BROOME PARK HOTEL

Summary

Model stable block originally built between 1635-38 for Broome Park (TR 24 NW 7) . Of two storeys in red brick, tending towards English Bond, with tiled roof and modillion eaves cornice. Six windows, casements with small leaded panes, those on the ground floor having 3 lights with stone mullions and cambered head linings. Shaped Dutch gable ends. The east range, of one storey, formerly the coach house,was probably added in the 18th century. Summary from record TR 24 NW 168: Grade II listed building. Main construction periods 1600 to 1799
