Findspot record TR 36 NE 415 - Bronze Age hoard, South Dumpton Down, Broadstairs and St. Peters
Summary
A hoard of two layers. The first in a row on edge and end to end of four palstaves above which was a slab of tabular flint and then a second group of a palstaves, a penannular ring and part of a bracelet. They had been deposited in a small bowl shaped pit cut into the chalk which contained a few bone fragments. The site has now been developed.
