Landward side of Crete Road, just W of a bend in the road.Hexagonal pillbox, of very rough concrete with 29ins thick walls. Step-splayed embrasures with a pierced sheet of iron or steel on the inside. No embrasure in the front wall, just one each in
Hexagonal pillbox, of very rough concrete with 29ins thick walls. Step-splayed embrasures with a pierced sheet of iron or steel on the inside. No embrasure in the front wall, just one each in the E facing side walls and one in the front W facing side wall. Type 24, thick-walled pillbox. No embrasure in front wall. Several pours of concrete apparent. Built of reinforced concrete and in fair condition. Beside road on N side. (1) Pillbox [Sector 4]. Cassini ref 663562.
