Full Description

Second World War public air raid shelter for 50 people in the grounds of the former Northfleet Public Library, at the junction of London Road with Dover Road, in Northfleet. Its design is unknown but was probably built in 1940 and decomissioned by the Spring of 1945. It served the community in the neighbouring houses. It was probably demolished by 1946.
